Charlie Vogt , PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Charlie Vogt was named DZS' President and CEO in August, 2020.  Mr. Vogt bringing two decades of experience as President and CEO and 35 years of professional experience executing visionary innovation and strategies that resulted in unprecedented growth and profitability.

Prior to DZS, Mr. Vogt was president and CEO of four companies: ATX Networks, a global leader of HFC access networking and media distribution solutions, Imagine Communications, a world-leading provider of media access networking and software solutions, GENBAND (now Ribbon Communications), a global leader in optical access networking and software solutions, and Taqua, a pioneer in VoIP softswitch technology. Earlier in his career, Mr. Vogt was instrumental in the operational and financial growth of several standard-setting technology companies which included ADTRAN and Ascend Communications that either became public companies or were acquired.

Mr. Vogt holds a B.S. in Economics and Computer Science from Saint Louis University.

Misty Kawecki , CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Misty Kawecki has been Chief Financial Officer of DZS since August 2021, bringing over 24 years of finance and accounting experience to the CFO role.

Previously, Ms. Kawecki served as CFO and Head of Operations for MediaKind and prior to that, she was VP, Finance and Corporate Controller at Imagine Communications. She also served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Corporate Controller at GENBAND and Senior Director, WW Revenue Controller at McAfee (Intel). She started her career at Big 4 accounting firm EY.

Ms. Kawecki has a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.

Jay Hilbert , CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER

Jay Hilbert serves DZS as Chief Revenue Officer globally. Before joining DZS, Mr. Hilbert served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at RigNet, a global provider of digital technology solutions including broadband connectivity, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) for global enterprise customers. Prior to RigNet, he was SVP of Sales at CommScope Holding Company, Inc., a global provider of wireless solutions, where he was responsible for sales of the first O-RAN product for LTE. Mr. Hilbert was also the first Global SVP of Sales for Cambium Networks (a spin out of Motorola), which provided Fixed Wireless Access technology for rural broadband coverage. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hilbert also served as SVP of Sales at Nokia and Jabil.

Mr. Hilbert has a Bachelor of Science in engineering management from the University of North Dakota.

Geoff Burke , CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Geoff Burke serves as Chief Marketing Officer for DZS. A renowned marketer and recognized industry visionary, he joined DZS in April 2020 and has brought a wealth of experience in leading marketing transformations and championing major communications industry initiatives to the company, most recently as Chief Marketing Officer at Broadband Forum.

Prior to joining Broadband Forum, Mr. Burke led Corporate Marketing at Calix, responsible for the Calix brand and company messaging worldwide. Mr. Burke has also held a variety of senior marketing, strategy, and operational roles at Motorola/Next Level Communications, The McKenna Group, KPMG Consulting, and Oracle Corporation.

Mr. Burke holds an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA.

Andrew Bender , CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Andrew Bender serves as Chief Technology Officer for DZS, where he is responsible for developing, coordinating, and promoting the technology strategy for the company. He joined DZS in October 2020 to help expand the solutions space for DZS to SDN, mobile broadband and 5G technologies.

Mr. Bender has over 20 years of broad ranging experience in the carrier networking, infrastructure and software sectors spanning Kubernetes and cloud native, webscale applications, NFV, SDN, mobile access / edge / core, video and streaming media, IMS / RCS, DOCSIS, multiservice access and transport network technology areas.

Prior to DZS, Mr. Bender led the team of technologists covering the service provider industry in the Americas at VMWare. He has also held various technology, strategy, solutions, architecture and engineering roles at Hewlett Packard, NEC, Ribbon Communications / GENBAND, and others.

Daniel Won , CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER

Daniel Won serves as Chief Product Officer at DZS. Mr. Won joined DZS in September 2016 as President of DNS Korea in connection with the Merger of Zhone Technologies and DASAN Networks.

Mr. Won brings over thirty years of experience in the telecommunications marketplace across several disciplines, including executive management, engineering and sales. Prior to his roles with DZS, Mr. Won held various executive positions at LG and Cisco Systems.

Mr. Won holds an M.B.A. from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), and a B.S. from Seoul National University.

Jennifer Yohe , Chief Operations Officer

Jennifer Yohe was named DZS' Chief Operations Officer in November 2021. A seasoned operations and supply chain executive, Ms. Yohe brings to her role two decades of experience with industry-leading communications service providers, technology, and software vendors.

Prior to DZS, Ms. Yohe served as Executive Vice President, Operations and Supply Chain, at MediaKind (Formerly Ericsson), where she managed supply chain, procurement, and sales operations. Prior to that, she spent twelve years at Comcast as Senior Vice President, Procurement / Supply Chain where she was instrumental in operational results of a complex and diverse supply chain. Earlier in her career, Ms. Yohe spent nine years with Time Warner Cable as Vice President, Business Operations. Ms. Yohe has received numerous awards throughout her career, including the "Women in Technology Award", "Most Powerful Women in Cable" and "Top Women in Technology."

Laura Larsen-Misunas , CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER

Laura Larsen-Misunas serves as Chief People Officer for DZS. Mrs. Larsen-Misunas has held several progressively advancing administration and human resources management roles since joining DZS in 2000, for a total of more than twenty years of experience in the telecommunications industry.

Most recently at Ascend Communications, she established the company's first Risk Management department, managing day to day cash, long term investments, and the foreign exchange program. Prior to Ascend, Mrs. Larsen-Misunas was a successful account manager and executive in the financial and insurance industries, having worked for Marsh and Willis.

Mrs. Larsen-Misunas holds a B.S. in Marketing from California State University San Francisco.

Justin Ferguson , CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER

Justin Ferguson serves as Chief Legal Officer at DZS, responsible for the company's global legal activities and policies. In addition, Mr. Ferguson serves as Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors and is responsible for all corporate governance matters. He joined DZS in September 2020 and brings more than 17 years of legal experience which includes advising companies in the telecom, technology and cloud security space.

Prior to joining DZS, Mr. Ferguson was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary to Ribbon Communications Inc, a Nasdaq listed company that provides real time communications software and packet and optical transport solutions . Prior to Ribbon, Mr. Ferguson served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Zix Corporation, a Nasdaq listed company that provides email and cloud security solutions. Mr. Ferguson began his career as a corporate attorney at the law firms of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Baker Botts L.L.P.

Mr. Ferguson received a Juris Doctorate degree from Texas Tech University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Texas Tech University. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.

Raghu Marthi , CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

Raghu Marthi joined DZS as Chief Information Officer in September of 2021, bringing 25 years of experience in information technology to the company through leadership of complex company-wide application development, data management, technology infrastructure, data center operations and telecommunication networks worldwide.

Prior to DZS, Mr. Marthi was Chief Information Officer at MediaKind, responsible for information technology and digital strategy spanning applications, data, cybersecurity and infrastructure. He has also held a variety of management and technical leadership positions at Hewlett Packard, PricewatershouseCoopers, HCL and Dresser Industries.

Mr. Marthi holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Master's degree in Computer Science and earned his MBA from SC Johnson Graduate School Management at Cornell University, Ithaca NY.
